I’ve been a keen reader of psychology, the mind and wellbeing for the last decade. Having stumbled on happiness (thanks Tal Ben-Shahar!) in 2014, I am now studying a Masters in Positive Psychology, which I am due to complete in August 2016.

I speak about wellbeing, in the context of mental health and happiness, at schools, youth groups and to other audiences. (My Masters dissertation is focused on wellbeing in the workplace).

I also volunteer at Action For Happiness, whose patron is the Dalai Lama.

If you’d like me to speak at your school, workplace or otherwise, drop me an email at jas@theheadstart.uk with the subject ‘Speaking’ and I’ll get back to you pronto.

If you’re interested, you can take a look at what others have said about me (more coming soon), below.

April 2016: Aspire Prep Bootcamp

“Jas recently talked to our audience of parents, students and professionals at the Aspire Prep School on the subject of well-being and happiness. Not only was he able to speak eloquently and passionately on his chosen subjects but he was also engaging and informative, giving everyone food for thought on these most important subjects. He was happy to interact with our audience and we had extremely positive verbal feedback from them. I would warmly recommend Jas as a speaker and we would certainly see him as a talented orator.” – Adrian Sladdin, Director @ Aspire Prep
